BA and Uraguay.
En route to Patagonia, I got to tag on a stop over in Buenos Aires and check out the city life before heading off to the solitude of a couple of weeks hiking in the mountains.
From the colourful La Bocca to capturing the city pulse along 9 de Julio Avenue, Buenos Aires was a welcome stop along the way. Often referred to as the Paris of Latin America, BA paves way to a unique culture and moves at it's own pace.
With Uruguay only a short ferry away, I decided to spend on a couple of days in Colonia del Sacramento and wander the cobblestone streets.
Slowing down and lounging in Colonia's quaint cafes proved to be the perfect downtime before hoping three flights down to Patagonia's southern gateway of Punta Arenas. Let the real adventure begin!
