Summer Traditions.

Shredding home after gaining Brandywine summit made for a great Sunday outing.

Continuing on last years theme of heading out for a July snow mission, we chose to start at Brandywine Meadows and make our way to the summit. After a short, scenic hike through the meadows we soon hit snow and began the skin/bootbpack into the alpine.

Shredding home after gaining Brandywine summit made for a great Sunday outing. The views from the top offered a great look at Cayley and Fee along with all of the distant icons including Black Tusk, Castle Towers, Mount Garibaldi, Tricouni and the Tantalus Range to name a few.

Looking out, there are endless options for next July's trip but for now it's time to drop in and make the gravity fed journey back home before dusk.

July touring - It's officially a summer tradition!
